OLD and NEW money

Project

In this project are teams from Slovakia,Austria,Czech Republic, Ireland, and Spain. Meaning of this project was to attract students attention to the familiarization of the past and modern times. We should appreciate the heritage of our ancestors and not take new things for granted. Most of the activities we did together in the classroom or in the computer classroom during English lessons.

It was for example, introducing a class, writing stories in international groups, dictating a picture. Some of the tasks students did at home and we put them together on a Twinspace, for example a picture and description of old and new things, which were then put together in a joint presentation. On some tasks they worked individually at school, for example contributions to the forum, characteristics of Christmas traditions, familiarization with traditions of other countries, getting to know partner school pupils, complementary activities, quizzes and voting. In small groups, tasks were divided that each group had prepared something else - for example, old and new in our city, old and new images, old and new music, and so on.
